Scope 3 Category 7 covers how your employees get to work. Most companies estimate it from a once-a-year survey. Yedem measures it from real parking and carpooling data, and helps you cut it by putting fewer cars on the road for the same people.

At the Dukovany nuclear power plant, colleagues on the same shifts share the ride through Yedem. Emissions came down, and the new car park was never needed.

Scope 3 Category 7 of the GHG Protocol covers emissions from employees commuting between home and work in vehicles the company does not own or operate, such as their own cars.
Yedem counts real car trips and carpool rides from its parking and carpooling app, then applies commute distances and emission factors to report CO₂eq by site and period.
For modes Yedem doesn't see, such as public transport, cycling or walking, a short survey still helps. For car commuting, Yedem replaces the estimate with measured data.
By making it easy for colleagues to share the ride: Yedem matches carpoolers and gives them reserved spots, so fewer cars bring the same people to work. At ČEZ Dukovany this saves 100+ tonnes of CO₂eq a year.
Yes. Yedem exports commuting data by site and period for your reporting team.
